Joseph David Purvis, 93, talented author, former official of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and writer for the Savannah Morning News died Friday, June 27, 2008 at his home in Savannah. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
